Kvirti is a complete website for a kindergarten: a modern bento grid on warm paper, five playful colours, very large headings and soft shapes as group emblems. Everything is alive: tiles lift, emblems turn, numbers count up and the pages fade into each other. On the start page a live “right now” tile shows what the children are doing at this moment – from the rhythm of the day and the opening hours, with the day as a progress bar – next to today’s lunch, the free places, numbers, the groups and parents’ words.

A group finder: enter the date of birth and the site shows the age in years and months and the matching group. The day with the current activity marked and the lunch of the week. A fee calculator: care time, extra clubs and sibling discount – the monthly amount appears at once. A visit to get to know you: age and group from the date of birth, only days and times with visits – the request arrives in the admin and by e-mail.

The language switch is a row of toy blocks with drawn flags – the one in use stands on top of the others; on phones the menu is a sheet of colourful tiles. Installation: upload two files and open install.php – the assistant checks your web space, connects the MySQL database and sets everything up in a few minutes.
